Intro:
Narrator: It was a dark and stormy night and…

Guy: Of course it was! That is how EVERY scary story starts! So predictable! Change it up a little!

Narrator: OK.OK. It was a dark and Thunderous night…. Better?

Guy: *Gives Narrator a dirty look and shakes his head with a force so large, it’s a miracle it didn’t fall off it’s rocker.*

Three small children looked up at a mysterious castle. Rain trickled down their shivering faces. Gravity pulling the drips down at a constant speed, and they collected in the puddle below. The castle was made of bricks that have turned black, and windows that are now smudged with the fingerprints of the victims. The Bats didn’t mind the rain as they circled the highest tower looking for  a midnight snack. Lightning struck the tip of the castle, leaving a crack down it’s side.

“That’s the kind of castle you would see in scary movies” Emily said, pulling her hood over her head.

“Yeah especially that cat”, Rose pointed to a blackcat by the door. It arched it’s back and accelerated as it scurried away, causing it to lose it’s balance and fall off the patio. `The three friends stared up at the castle as their shoes filled with water. Claudia kicked her foot to the side, trying to trick the water to run off her shoe.  The water will move with her shoe, but when she pulls back fast enough it will fly forward, like a person in a car stopping suddenly.

“Let’s go inside” Claudia said, walking toward the building. Emily and Rose looked at Claudia,
“Are you kidding?” Emily started, “have you watched a scary movie? You go in a creepy castle, you die in a creepy castle!”
“But they are all made up just to scare people. We will be fine.” Claudia insisted. Wanting to get out of the rain, and having no other choice, they followed Claudia up to the castle door.
They stood at the door, it’s wood cracked and worn. Claudia pulled back the goblin knocker and knocked three times.
“Do you wanna build a snowman?” Emily asked trembling.
“It’s the middle of July. There is no snow” Rose remarked. Claudia knocked again and the door creaked open.

“See! Just like in the movies! How could that big bulky door open! It’s mass is too large, the wind doesn’t have enough force to open it!” Emily belted.

“Come on” Claudia pushed, “ Nothing is going to happen.”

With every step there was a squeaking sound. Squeak. Squeak. Squeak. Emily looked around to find the noise, jumping in every direction. Squeak. Squeak.

“Cut it out Claudia, you’re scaring Emily.

Claudia chuckled, “It was just too hard to resist.”

As they entered the building they could see cobwebs flashing in the light of the lightning. A musty scent filled the air. There was a round staircase, before them, leading to the second floor. To the left was a hallway extending to blackness. To the right was a life size doll, sitting by the wall.  She had on  a white tattered dress, with stockings and dress shoes. Her curly nated hair failed to cover the scar by her solid white eye. When Rose saw it she jumped back, and with the lack of friction on the floor, her leg flew up and she fell down, gravity being her guide. As she made it back  to her feet, a noise erupted from down the hall.

“Hello?” Claudia called. No reply. She started down the hallway, feeling the wall for direction. Rose followed, and Emily waited shaking her head.

“Yeah going find the culprit to the mysterious noise is very wise….We are so dead” She moaned, and followed behind them. Emily pulled out her phone, lighting up the hallway. She raised it above her head, checking for signal.

“Nothing. Great. Don’t know why I tried because somebody wanted to be in a horror movie! Do you know how many phones work in horror movies? Two. The killer’s and the one he calls to tell you you’re going to die."

“Could you stop blabbering?” Claudia asked, “We are going to be…” BANG! A shot of lightning filled the hallway, showing the silhouette of a little girl down the hall.

“Hey little girl”  Claudia said moving closer to her.

“Don’t get close to it! You don’t know what it is capable of !” Emily screamed.
Claudia looked back at Emily,

“It’s a little girl. She’s not going to hurt us.” Lightning lit up the hall as Claudia turned back to the little girl. The lightning lit up her face. She had curly brown hair, a white dress, solid white eyes, and a crack leading down her face. Claudia turned to Emily and Rose,

“It’s the doll!” she yelped. When she turned back around, the girl was gone. Realizing Emily was right, they all ran back to the door, not caring about the darkness before them. Claudia collided with Rose, who then bumped into Emily. The elastic collision caused Emily to fly ahead of them. They hustled to the door only to see that they have been outrun by a doll. It stood there tilting it’s head at them.

“How did it get here so fast!” Rose questioned.

“It’s just like the movies! The killer always has ninja speed!” Emily exclaimed.
Having no other choice they ran up the stairs. Emily however tripped and slid down to the bottom step. She caught her bearings and saw little white shoes in front of her. She looked up to see the doll looking right at her. They both froze for a moment. The doll’s arm lost tension with the thread and fell to the floor. She looked down at her arm, and Emily took this opportunity to hightail it out of there. They all ran into the first room they saw and slammed the door. They took whatever they could and piled it at the door. They all stepped back to see if their blockade worked. The door moved with incredible force. It opened an inch and a small arm came around it.
“How can a doll be able to move that!” Claudia questioned,”I know,I know, It’s a movie! Physics doesn’t apply in movies!”

They looked around for a place to run to. Rose opened the window and looked out.
“There is a line over here. We can use our belts to slide down it.” Rose announced.

    “Will it work?”  Emily protested.

“Well it works in the movies” Rose asserted smiling mockingly.

They all took off their belts and took their turn down the line. When they reached the bottom the rain stopped, and people rushed out with camera gear. A guy in a shirt that said “Director”  on it came over and started shouting,

“Ok. let’s do it again, but this time I want to FEEL the emotion. I want tears people!  Oh and Emily darling you can’t keep mentioning ‘movie’ during filming, it doesn't make it believable.” He continued to yell at a man with a camera, telling him he got the wrong angle. The three girls stared at each other confused. What is this insane man talking about?

“Claudia darling, go refill the rain would you. The button is on the panel.” The director instructed. Claudia went over to the bulky machine and looked at all the buttons. She didn’t know which one to push so she just picked one. As she pressed it, the house erupted. Broken pieces of concrete fell around them. Rose jumped when the goblin knocker fell beside her.

“Was there a big red button on that panel?” Rose asked Claudia.

    “Yep” Claudia replied.

    “You pressed it didn’t you?”

    “Yep”

A plastic arm fell into Emily’s arms. She screamed and threw it as far as she could. She shook and wiped off her clothes.

“I hate scary movies!” She yelled.
Lets just start off and say I'm not the best writter, but when I do write something and it seems awesome to me I'm proud and have to share.

This story is for physics so if you see acceleration, tension, force, things like that, that's why.

This story is funy ad creepy at the saem time.
